Mitchell G. Nash, M.D.

Dr. Nash grew up in Northwestern North Carolina and completed his medical internship in 2021 and ophthalmology residency at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio in 2024. 

Dr. Nash graduated from the Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina in 2020 where he was a member of the AOA and in the leadership of the Surgical Interest Group.

He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree, majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry, with highest distinction, and was a Buckley Public Service Scholar. 

He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and Board Eligible for the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Nash has special interests in cataracts, refractive surgery, LASIK/PRK, and corneal disease. 

Dr. Nash and his wife, Deborah, are the parents of a son, Lincoln. As an Eagle Scout, he thoroughly enjoys the outdoors and watersports. He is excited to explore the mountains surrounding the Oak Ridge and Knoxville communities.
