Heather H. Walker, O.D.

Doctor of Optometry, Heather H. Walker, received her bachelor’s degree, majoring in General Science and minoring in Psychology, from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, graduating with honors in 1997. She then received her professional degree graduating Summa Cum Laude from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis in 2001. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians.

A native of McMinn County, Dr. Walker, her husband, Chris, and their two sons have made their home in Lenoir City since 2006. Dr. Walker enjoys spending time with her family watching sporting events or her boys playing golf and baseball.

Dr. Walker joined the physicians of The Eye Centers in 2013. She is practicing in the Lenoir City location where she practices primary eye care, including routine examinations; glasses and contact lens fitting; pre- and post-operative surgical care; and the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases and injuries, including infections, diabetic eye monitoring, and glaucoma care. The monitoring and education of patients with diabetes is an area of special interest for Dr. Walker.
